This was the first year of the project ...

 

The IRIS Europe II kick-off meeting was organised end of April 2009 in Brussels. The project started with the elaboration of the Strategic Action Plan (SAP) which took quite some effort. The final version of the SAP was submitted to the TEN-T EA and DG-TREN by the end of July 2009. The SuAc leaders took over their responsibility and are going to coordinate the work to be done within their SuAc among the participating partners.

In 2009 the following meetings took place:

• 1st Activity Coordination Meeting (ACM): End of June 2009 in Prague
• 1st Project Management Team (PMT) Meeting: Mid of September 2009 in Rotterdam
• 1st Steering Committee (SCOM) Meeting: Beginning of October 2009 in Brussels
• 2nd ACM: End of November in Paris
• 2nd PMT Meeting: Beginning of December in Vienna
• Furthermore several SuAc meetings took place that are not explicitely mentioned here

Summarised the year 2009 focused on the preparatory works for the activities and subactivities which will be executed in the upcoming two project years.
