10 out of TEN

 

In order to create better awareness on the TEN-T (Trans European Networks – Transport) programme of the European Union, the TEN-T Executive Agency organised the so-called TEN-T Info Days on 29.-30. November 2011 in Antwerp.

The TEN-T Agency selected 10 very successful showcase projects out of more than 120 projects which are funded by TEN-T. These selected projects were presented during the TEN-T Info Days and are part of the brochure „10 out of TEN – TEN-T Project Implementation Successes“.

One of these selected successful projects is IRIS Europe II which mirrors the excellent work that was done and the results that were achieved within the project. Furthermore this award underlines once more the importance of harmonised implementation of River Information Service in Europe.
